# Social Media

The Social Media pillar watches what a company and its **tracked executives** post publicly, and how that content lands with their audience. It covers brand accounts and individual leaders across every major platform.

## What it watches

* **Company posts**: activity across X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
* **Platform follower counts**: X 5.9m, Reddit (none), LinkedIn 36.8m, Threads 1.5m, Instagram 6.4m, Facebook 29.0m, YouTube 1.0m (as example for a major brand)
* **Executive posting cadence**: individual executives watched with their content themes and audience engagement
* **Engagement anomalies**: spikes above baseline classified by magnitude (High/Medium/Low) with platform and trend data
* **Content intelligence**: themes, topics, and messaging patterns across posts
* **Deleted content**: removals detected within the monitoring window
* **Cross-platform presence**: where the company is active and where it is silent
* **Coordinated posting patterns**: when brand and executives post on the same theme simultaneously

## Sub-tabs

The Social Media pillar has five sub-tabs: **Overview**, **Executive**, **Content intelligence**, **Engagement anomalies**, and **Ad creatives**.

### Overview

A cross-platform summary showing platform follower cards (X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), an engagement trend line chart with platform checkboxes for filtering, Key signals, and a Social fingerprint section that captures the company's unique social presence pattern.

### Executive

Watches individual executive posting cadence, topics, and audience engagement. A CEO shifting themes from "developer-first" to "enterprise reliability" signals strategy changes before any official announcement. This tab gives you early warning from the people who set the direction.

### Content intelligence

Analyzes themes, topics, and messaging patterns across all social posts. Reveals what narratives the company is investing in and how their messaging evolves over time. Look for new themes emerging or old ones being retired.

### Engagement anomalies

Detects spikes above baseline engagement classified by magnitude. A High-magnitude anomaly (e.g., "+486% above 90-day baseline") indicates content that resonated far beyond normal performance. This is often a signal that a topic or announcement hit a nerve with the market.

### Ad creatives

Shows paid social ad creatives detected across platforms. See the exact messaging, visuals, and targeting a company uses in their paid social campaigns. Useful for understanding how they spend to amplify their narrative.

  A spike in executive social activity combined with website messaging changes often signals a coordinated launch happening within days. When social activity jumps, cross-reference the Website pillar for simultaneous changes.
