Before you begin

You’ll need:
  • A mobile app already built in Rocket.
  • The project open and ready to publish.

Open your mobile project

Open your mobile app project in Rocket.
At the top right, you’ll see the Launch button.

Success check: A popup titled Publish on Netlify should appear.

Click Launch

In the popup, click Launch to start the deployment.

What happens next?
The button changes to Publishing, and Rocket begins deployment.
Your app is deployed to a Rocket-hosted Netlify domain.
No need to connect a personal Netlify account.

Your mobile app is live

Once published, you’ll see a confirmation screen with your mobile app link.

Here’s what you get:
  • A public link to your mobile app.
  • An Update button to push changes.
  • An Un-publish option to take the app offline.
All mobile apps are hosted on Rocket’s Netlify account.
Custom domains or Netlify connections are not supported for mobile apps.

Update or un-publish your app

Need to make changes or take your app offline?
  • Update: Deploys your latest edits to the live link.
  • Un-publish: Deactivates the link and removes public access.

When you click Un-publish, you’ll be asked to confirm.
  • Cancel returns you to the editor.
  • Confirm removes the app from public view.
Free users can’t un-publish mobile apps.
Want full control? Upgrade your account to unlock it.
Once un-published, the link will stop working.
You can publish again anytime.

Your mobile app is now online. It’s fast, simple, and fully hosted by Rocket.
