The People & Hiring pillar tells you who works there, who is joining or leaving, and what hiring patterns imply about strategic direction. Hiring signals are often the earliest indicator of a move, appearing months before any public announcement.
People and Hiring pillar showing employee sentiment data with Glassdoor ratings, burnout warning, and sub-rating breakdown
The People & Hiring pillar has five sub-tabs: Overview, Employee sentiment, Active hiring, Leadership, and Departures. The Employee sentiment tab shows Glassdoor and Blind ratings, CEO Approval, Recommend to Friend percentage, Review Volume, and sentiment signals including burnout warnings, rating trends, and sub-rating breakdowns compared to industry averages.

What it tracks

  • Open roles: count, departments, required skills, posting velocity
  • Executive hires and departures: C-suite and VP-level changes
  • Hiring patterns mapped to strategy: which departments are growing and what it implies
  • Employee sentiment: Glassdoor ratings, Blind mentions (the internal voice)
  • Headcount trends: total team size and rate of change

Example Intel

  • First VP Customer Success hire plus cluster of enterprise sales roles, suggesting enterprise expansion is imminent
  • CTO departed with no replacement posted for three weeks, indicating a leadership gap
  • Engineering hiring surged from 5 open roles to 19 in two weeks, signaling major product investment
  • Glassdoor rating dropped from 4.2 to 3.6 over three months, pointing to internal morale issues
